The Wrap up of The Moana Cup

What a day celebrating WOMEN IN FOOTBALL in SOUTH AUCKLAND A big mihi to Papatoetoe AFC , MangereUnitedAFC , and Candace & Sosaia from Manukau United Football Club for joining us today for our first hit out with the new annual tournament, The Moana Cup Tournament !

Let's CELEBRATE Māngere Uniteds Maramas team on taking out the Moana Cup for 2024 !!! Well done, team !!

And another mihi to our local board member, Christine O'Brien, sponsoring our tournament, Paula Hansen & Huss Hanif from New Zealand Football , Harrison from Northern Region Football all referees who officiated our matches, Tim, Sosaia and Mark, to our team who worked hard in the background to make this day possible, but most importantly to ALL our OU Wāhine team that smashed out today!

3 games played over 6 hours, each team played each other once and the final was played against the host's Otahuhu United and Mangere. 

A superb way to start the seasons for each team, with the community season starting at the end of April. The Moana Cup falls in the month of March, Women and Girls month. 

We wish all the teams good luck for thier respective seasons
